Hi, I'm Renée, the founder and maker behind Jaxon Naturals.

Long before I ever dreamed of starting a skincare business, I was simply hoping to become a mom.

My husband and I spent 14 years trying to conceive. After years of hope, heartbreak, and perseverance, we welcomed our son, Jaxon, through our second round of IVF.

Like many expectant moms, I wanted to give him the very best. During my pregnancy, news broke about a major lawsuit involving a product that had been trusted on babies for decades. Learning that something so commonly used could later be linked to serious health concerns completely changed the way I looked at the products we brought into our home.

I started reading ingredient labels, researching everything I could, and looking for simple, natural alternatives that I felt confident using on my baby.

Then Jaxon was born with two large patches of extremely dry skin on his shins. I searched for something gentle enough for his delicate skin but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.

So, I made it myself.

Using simple, nourishing ingredients, I created the body butter that Jaxon Naturals still carries today. Every time I changed his diaper, I applied it to those dry patches. Within about a week, they had disappeared—and they never returned.

I never intended for that little jar of body butter to become a business. It was simply something I made for my son.

Before long, family and friends were asking if I could make some for them. Then they started asking what else I could create.

In 2019, our family relocated home to Prince Edward Island from Alberta. Rather than searching for a new job, I decided to take a leap of faith and turn my passion into a business.

That's how Jaxon Naturals was born.

Today, every product is still handcrafted in small batches right here on Prince Edward Island using thoughtfully chosen ingredients and the same care that inspired that very first jar of body butter.

My goal has never been to create the biggest skincare company. I simply want to make affordable, natural products that families can feel good about using every day. Products made with ingredients you can recognize, crafted with care, and created by someone who understands just how important those choices can feel.
